SIBERIAN IRIS

The Siberian Iris is a tall, graceful plant with slim, grassy foliage. The Siberian Iris has ruffled violet blue flowers, pale blue at the center with a small golden eye on tall slender stems.

Siberian Iris is among the easiest of all types of Iris to raise. Their graceful stems, blooms, foliage, and neat habit of growth make them the most adaptable Iris for the perennial border and for landscaping. Siberian Iris thrive in almost every garden environment. Ideal plants for the perennial gardens, for by the pond side or in large patio planters and tubs. They also make fabulous cut flowers.

Fan divisions are recommended for transplanting, and the roots must be kept moist while the plants are out of the ground. Plant the rhizomes one inch deep (slightly deeper in sandy soils). Siberian clumps can grow undisturbed for several years.
