The Remington Model 700 was a series of bolt-action centerfire rifles manufactured by Remington Arms since 1962. The Remington 700 VSSF 223 Remington series rifles come with a 5 round internal drop plate magazine. The Remington VSSF rifle series was built on the famous Model 700 cylindrical action and is the most accurate rifle Remington has ever produced for over-the-counter sale. The VSSF is part of the Remington Sendero family. Youll be stunned by the degree of precision you get straight out of the box. The Remington Model 700 VSSF rifles are finely tuned tack-drivers. The HS Precision stock is reinforced with aramid fibers and features a contoured beavertail for-end with ambidextrous finger grooves and palm swell. The stock features a Full-Length Aluminum Bedding Block that creates an accuracy-enhancing platform for the barreled action. The HS Precision stock when purchased independently retails for $499, which made the Sendero and its VSSF counterpart two of the most high-end rifles made by Remington outside of those produced in their Custom shop.

The rifle has had a Trigger Tech trigger installed replacing the factory Remington X-Mark Trigger. The Trigger Tech is fully adjustable to a pull of between 1.5 to 4 lbs. of trigger pull. The trigger-pull on this rifle is currently set at 1.5 lbs. The barrel has been custom threaded for use with a suppressor. The bore is shiny and bright. There is not any erosion in the bore so I rate the rifling as in excellent condition. You can tell by the condition of the jeweled bolt that this rifle does not have many rounds fired through the bore. I would estimate that less than 40 rounds have been fired through this rifle. The rifle has a hinged floor-plate making for easy loading and unloading. The overall rifle is in excellent condition, the bore, the bolt, the barrel and the stock are estimated at an overall condition grade of 98% +.

I had Leupold make a turret for the Leupold CDS Dial using the ballistic specifications of the Hornaday V-Max 55 grain, a round that shoots particularly well in this rifle.

The Leupold rifle scope, mount and rings can be part of this sale, or the scope package can be removed so the rifle can be purchased alone.

I am asking $1,650 for the rifle with the custom upgrades alone, or the whole package rifle, scope, mounnt and rings for $2,400.
