Spherion Staffing is looking for a Database Manager for oversight, evolution, and management of an organization's development software and tools. This role will manage giving platforms, development procedures and analytics, and integrations including constituent relationship management (CRM) database and digital giving systems, gift processing and acknowledgement practices, development data governance, and the design, production, and assessment of data-driven analytic resources and systems aimed at guiding and improving all aspects of the fundraising program.

Schedule: Day shift Monday-Friday with weekends as needed

Pay $20-24/hour DOE

Responsibilities:

-Develop and oversee all department standard operating procedures related to donor records, data definitions and protocols, data security measures, gift acceptance and gift processing systems, data vendor partnerships, and other development functions.

-Oversee and manage the health of the CRM database

-Oversee and manage the accurate recording of private contributions, grants, bequests, pledges, stock donations, special events, and other private contributions along with all related data integrity measures across all donor types including creation of an annual campaign map

-Process and maintain pledge receivables; prepare billings as required; respond to inquiries from donors and accountants; contact businesses and individuals

-Design, manage, and execute all internal and external fundraising reports

-Design, produce, provide, and present timely and pertinent reports on development data analytics to development team members, leadership team, and other colleagues as appropriate and upon request, as well as creating automated reports for recurring data needs

-Oversee, manage, and execute the preparation of development information for financial audits, state solicitation registration and reports

-Use CRM data analysis, web analytics methods, data mining techniques, and other

research/analysis tools and means (wealth screening) to help determine and assess donor giving motivations and behaviors, to help advance development and institutional goals for growth

-Provide development, management and quarterly updates to development and communications team annual work plan, donor engagement plan, and key performance indicators; working with team annually to establish fiscal year goals and plans

-Facilitate the cross-department grants management system for identification, acceptance, filing, and tracking awards and progress/final reports

-Facilitate the annual program investment process: prepare funding application documents; schedule Community Impact Committee meetings; notify agencies and public of RFP timeline and financial awards; administer and monitor quarterly reporting system

Requirements:

-Two-year accounting or finance degree

-Business administration experience

-Must have extensive computer experience and knowledge

-One or more years of experience in a data entry, finance or accounting related position

-Ability to work effectively with a variety of people
