The Hopper Walker was invented by a farmer from Southeastern North Dakota. He was tired of always having to get out of his truck to position the swing hopper, thus the Hopper Walker was born. In 2009, Rust Sales, Inc., an agricultural implement dealership in North Dakota, acquired the Hopper Walker from this farmer because, as he would put it, he was in the business of farming, not manufacturing.
